Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of this practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff. We abide by the ten National Privacy Principles which are available at: www.privacy.gov.au/health/index.html
All of our General Practitioners are committed to providing quality care to you as an extension of the care provided by your usual General Practitioner. With your consent, information relating to the consultation is sent to your usual General Practitioner immediately by fax, mail or secure mail the next day thereby giving the continuity of your care back to your own GP.
